HUMULIN N.P.H 10ML is a Prescription Only Medicine (POM) containing Human Insulin Isophane Suspension (NPH) 100 units/ml in a 10ml vial. Manufactured by Eli Lilly and Company, it is an intermediate-acting human insulin used for the management of Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. It provides sustained background insulin coverage to control blood sugar levels between meals and overnight. It is administered via subcutaneous injection using an insulin syringe. The vial must be gently rolled to mix thoroughly before each use.
