HUMULIN 70/30 VIAL 100IU 10ML is a Prescription Only Medicine (POM) containing a pre-mixed suspension of 70% Human Insulin Isophane (NPH) and 30% Human Insulin Regular (100 units/ml). Manufactured by Eli Lilly and Company, this 10ml vial is used for the management of Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. It provides both short-acting and intermediate-acting insulin to help control blood sugar levels after meals and throughout the day. It is administered via subcutaneous injection using an insulin syringe, typically 30-45 minutes before meals. The vial must be gently rolled to mix before each use.
