HUMALOG CARTRIDGE 3.0ML is a Prescription Only Medicine (POM) containing Insulin Lispro 100 units/ml, a rapid-acting insulin analogue manufactured by Eli Lilly and Company. It comes as a 3.0ml cartridge for use in compatible reusable insulin pens. Humalog is used for the management of Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus to rapidly lower blood sugar levels, particularly after meals, and to help maintain overall glucose control. It should be injected subcutaneously just before or immediately after a meal.
