HILDERM CH CREAM 30GMS is a Prescription Only Medicine (POM) in Kenya, containing Silver Sulfadiazine 1% w/w and Chitosan Hydrochloride. This topical cream is specifically designed as an antimicrobial agent for the prevention and treatment of wound infections in patients with second- and third-degree burns. It combines the broad-spectrum antibacterial action of silver sulfadiazine with the wound-healing properties of chitosan, working synergistically to promote rapid and effective healing while preventing sepsis. It may also be used for infected leg ulcers.
