GLIPITA TABLETS 50MG is a Prescription Only Medicine (POM), commonly supplied in strips of 10 tablets. Each tablet contains Sitagliptin 50mg, a DPP-4 inhibitor, manufactured by Beximco Pharmaceuticals Ltd. It is used as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. This strength is particularly relevant for patients with moderate kidney impairment, requiring a lower dose.
