GLIPITA 100 TABS is a Prescription Only Medicine (POM), typically supplied in strips of 10 tablets. Each tablet contains Sitagliptin 100mg, a DPP-4 inhibitor manufactured by Beximco Pharmaceuticals Ltd. It is used as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, either alone or in combination with other anti-diabetic medications. Sitagliptin works by enhancing the body’s natural incretin system to increase insulin release and decrease glucose production.
