GLIFEMPA 10/500MG is a Prescription Only Medicine (POM), commonly supplied in a pack of 30 tablets. Each tablet contains a combination of Empagliflozin 10mg (an SGLT2 inhibitor) and Metformin Hydrochloride 500mg (a biguanide). Manufactured by Galaxy Pharmaceutical Limited (in Kenya), this medication is used for the management of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, particularly when diet, exercise, and single-drug therapy are insufficient to control blood glucose levels.
