Description
GLENTEL H 80 is a Prescription Only Medicine (POM), commonly supplied in a pack of 30 tablets. Each tablet contains a combination of Telmisartan 80mg (an ARB) and Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5mg (a diuretic). Manufactured by Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd., this medication is used for the effective treatment of essential hypertension (high blood pressure), particularly when monotherapy is insufficient. It works by relaxing blood vessels and increasing the excretion of excess fluid and sodium from the body, thereby significantly lowering blood pressure and reducing the risk of cardiovascular complications.
