Description
GLENTEL H 40MGS is a Prescription Only Medicine (POM), commonly supplied in a pack of 30 tablets. Each tablet contains a combination of Telmisartan 40mg (an Angiotensin II Receptor Blocker) and Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5mg (a thiazide diuretic). Manufactured by Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd., this medication is used for the effective treatment of essential hypertension (high blood pressure), especially when a single antihypertensive agent is insufficient to control blood pressure. It works by relaxing blood vessels and increasing the excretion of excess fluid and sodium from the body, thereby significantly lowering blood pressure and reducing the risk of cardiovascular complications.
