FLUX 125mg/5ml Oral Suspension is a Prescription Only Medicine (POM) in Kenya, formulated as a dry powder for reconstitution into an oral antibiotic suspension. Each 5ml of the prepared suspension delivers 125mg of Flucloxacillin, a potent penicillin-class antibiotic. This medication is primarily used to treat a range of bacterial infections in children, including common skin and soft tissue infections (e.g., boils, impetigo, cellulitis), respiratory tract infections (e.g., pneumonia, tonsillitis, otitis media), and other infections caused by susceptible Gram-positive bacteria, particularly those resistant to standard penicillins.
