Description
Emcon 750mcg is an effective emergency contraceptive pill designed to prevent unintended pregnancy after unprotected sexual intercourse or contraceptive failure. Each pack contains two tablets, with each tablet containing 0.75mg of Levonorgestrel, a synthetic progestogen. For optimal efficacy, the first tablet should be taken as soon as possible, preferably within 12 hours, and definitely no later than 72 hours (3 days) after unprotected sex. The second tablet should be taken 12 hours after the first. Emcon 750mcg works by delaying or preventing ovulation, changing the cervical mucus to hinder sperm, or altering the uterine lining to prevent implantation.
