COVERAM 5mg/10mg Tablets 30’s is a prescription-only, fixed-dose combination medication specifically formulated for the effective management of essential hypertension (high blood pressure) and/or stable coronary heart disease. Each tablet contains a synergistic blend of two powerful active ingredients: Perindopril Arginine 5mg, an Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme (ACE) inhibitor, which works by widening blood vessels to lower blood pressure and reduce the heart’s workload; and Amlodipine (as besilate) 10mg, a Calcium Channel Blocker (CCB), which further relaxes blood vessels, aiding blood flow to the heart and throughout the body.
