COROLOR 90mg Tablets are a critical, prescription-only antiplatelet medication containing Ticagrelor 90mg. As a P2Y12 platelet inhibitor, Ticagrelor works by preventing blood platelets from clumping together to form dangerous blood clots that can block arteries. This action is vital in reducing the risk of life-threatening cardiovascular events. COROLOR 90mg is primarily indicated for patients who have experienced an Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) or have a history of Myocardial Infarction (heart attack), to significantly lower the risk of cardiovascular death, future heart attacks, and strokes. It is also prescribed to reduce the risk of a first heart attack or stroke in patients with Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) who are at high risk for such events, and for patients with acute ischemic stroke or high-risk transient ischemic attack (TIA) to reduce the risk of recurrent stroke. This medication is typically used in conjunction with a daily low-dose aspirin and requires close medical supervision due to an increased risk of bleeding.
