COMBIVENT Unit Dose Vials (UDV) are a prescription inhalation solution specifically formulated for the effective management of reversible bronchospasm associated with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), including chronic bronchitis and emphysema. Each 2.5ml unit-dose vial contains a powerful combination of two distinct bronchodilators: Ipratropium Bromide (0.5mg), an anticholinergic, and Salbutamol Sulfate (2.5mg), a beta-2 adrenergic agonist. These active ingredients work synergistically through different mechanisms to relax the smooth muscles of the airways, thereby widening the bronchial passages and making breathing significantly easier. COMBIVENT UDVs are designed for use with a nebulizer, which transforms the solution into a fine mist for direct delivery to the lungs.
