CLEDOMOX 312.5 DT Tablets are a powerful dispersible antibiotic designed for the effective treatment of a wide range of bacterial infections. Each tablet contains Amoxicillin 250mg and Clavulanic Acid 62.5mg. Amoxicillin, a penicillin-type antibiotic, works by disrupting bacterial cell wall formation, leading to their destruction. Clavulanic Acid is crucial as it acts as a beta-lactamase inhibitor, protecting Amoxicillin from enzymes produced by certain bacteria that would otherwise render the antibiotic ineffective. This potent combination makes CLEDOMOX 312.5 DT highly effective against infections of the respiratory tract (such as sinusitis, otitis media, bronchitis, pneumonia), urinary tract, skin and soft tissues, bone and joint infections, and dental infections. The “DT” (Dispersible Tablet) formulation allows it to be easily dissolved in water or milk, making it ideal for children or patients who have difficulty swallowing traditional tablets.
