CLAV 625mg Tablets are a powerful broad-spectrum antibiotic designed for the effective treatment of a diverse range of bacterial infections. Each tablet contains Amoxicillin 500mg and Clavulanic Acid 125mg. Amoxicillin, a penicillin-type antibiotic, works by destroying bacterial cell walls, leading to their destruction. Clavulanic Acid acts as a beta-lactamase inhibitor, preventing certain bacteria from inactivating Amoxicillin, thereby significantly broadening its spectrum of activity.
