Claneksi Forte Suspension 312mg/5ml (60ml) is a powerful broad-spectrum antibiotic powder for oral suspension, designed to effectively treat a wide range of bacterial infections. When reconstituted, each 5ml contains Amoxicillin 250mg and Clavulanic Acid 62.5mg. Amoxicillin works by destroying bacterial cell walls, while Clavulanic Acid acts as a beta-lactamase inhibitor, preventing certain bacteria from inactivating Amoxicillin. This combination makes it effective against bacteria that are resistant to amoxicillin alone. It is commonly prescribed for infections of the upper and lower respiratory tracts (e.g., sinusitis, otitis media, bronchitis, pneumonia), urinary tract, skin and soft tissues, and bone and joint infections.
