Azarga 5ml Eye Drops is a unique combination ophthalmic solution containing Brinzolamide (10 mg/ml) and Timolol Maleate (5 mg/ml). This dual-action formula is specifically designed to effectively lower elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in adult patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension where monotherapy provides insufficient IOP reduction. Brinzolamide, a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor, reduces the production of aqueous humor, while Timolol, a beta-blocker, also decreases aqueous humor production.
