Description
Ascarex D is a highly effective medication primarily used for the treatment of common intestinal worm infestations in humans, specifically roundworms (Ascaris lumbricoides) and pinworms (Enterobius vermicularis). Its active ingredient is Piperazine, often in the form of Piperazine Dihydrochloride or Piperazine Citrate.
Piperazine works by paralyzing the worms within the intestines. This neuromuscular blocking action causes the worms to detach from the intestinal wall and be expelled from the body during normal bowel movements, rather than directly killing them. This mechanism makes it generally well-tolerated.
Ascarex D provides a convenient and effective solution for eradicating these parasitic infections, which can cause symptoms like abdominal pain, nausea, itching, and general discomfort.
