HIT KIT TABS (referring to an H. Pylori Eradication Kit) is a Prescription Only Medicine (POM) combination therapy used to treat peptic ulcer disease caused by Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection. It typically contains Omeprazole 20mg (a proton pump inhibitor), Tinidazole 500mg (an antibiotic), and Amoxicillin 750mg (an antibiotic). This combination works to reduce stomach acid and kill the H. pylori bacteria, leading to the healing of ulcers and relief of associated symptoms like heartburn, indigestion, and stomach pain. The kit provides a complete course of therapy.
