GLUCOVANCE TABS 500MG/5MG 60`S is a Prescription Only Medicine (POM) containing a fixed-dose combination of Metformin Hydrochloride 500mg and Glibenclamide 5mg, provided in a pack of 60 tablets. Manufactured by Bristol-Myers Squibb, this medication is used for adults with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus to improve blood glucose control when diet, exercise, and monotherapy are insufficient. Metformin reduces glucose production and improves insulin sensitivity, while Glibenclamide stimulates insulin release from the pancreas. Tablets should be taken whole with meals.
