GLIFEMPA 25MG is a Prescription Only Medicine (POM), commonly supplied in a pack of 30 tablets. Each tablet contains Empagliflozin 25mg, an SGLT2 inhibitor, typically manufactured by Galaxy Pharmaceutical Limited (in Kenya). This medication is used for the management of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus to improve blood sugar control. Beyond its glucose-lowering effects, Empagliflozin at this strength is also indicated for reducing the risk of cardiovascular death, hospitalization for heart failure, and progression of kidney disease in appropriate diabetic patients.
