GETRYL 2MG 20S is a Prescription Only Medicine (POM) containing 2mg of Glimepiride per tablet. Manufactured by Getz Pharma, it belongs to the sulfonylurea class of oral antidiabetic drugs. It is used as an adjunct to diet and exercise to lower blood glucose levels in patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus whose hyperglycemia is not adequately controlled by lifestyle changes alone. It works by stimulating insulin release from the pancreas. The pack contains 20 tablets.
