Gentamast tubes are a veterinary medicinal product for the treatment of mastitis in livestock. Each tube contains an intramammary suspension with the active ingredient Gentamicin sulphate, a powerful aminoglycoside antibiotic. This formulation is designed for direct infusion into the infected mammary gland of cows, ewes, mares, and she-camels to combat bacterial infections that cause clinical and subclinical mastitis. Gentamicin works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, effectively eliminating the microorganisms responsible for the infection. Note: Gentamast is a veterinary product and must be used under the direction of a qualified veterinarian.
