GEMER 2MG 50S is a Prescription Only Medicine (POM) containing a combination of Glimepiride 2mg and Metformin Hydrochloride 500mg. It is indicated for the management of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in adults when diet, exercise, and single-agent therapy are insufficient to control blood sugar levels. Glimepiride stimulates insulin release, while Metformin reduces glucose production and improves insulin sensitivity, working together to effectively lower blood glucose. The pack contains 50 tablets.
