FOSMOL 3000MG SACHETS contain 3 grams of Fosfomycin Tromethamine, a potent oral antibiotic presented in a single-dose sachet. As a Prescription Only Medicine (POM) in Kenya, Fosmol is specifically indicated for the one-time treatment of acute, uncomplicated lower urinary tract infections (UTIs) or bladder infections (acute cystitis) in women caused by susceptible bacteria. It works by uniquely disrupting bacterial cell wall formation. The granules must be thoroughly dissolved in cool water and consumed immediately, ideally on an empty stomach, to ensure maximum efficacy.
