FLUMOX Syrup 250mg/5ml is a Prescription Only Medicine (POM) supplied as a dry powder for reconstitution into an oral suspension. Each 5ml dose of the prepared syrup delivers a powerful combination of 125mg Amoxicillin and 125mg Flucloxacillin, making it a broad-spectrum antibiotic effective against a wide range of bacterial infections. It is particularly well-suited for pediatric use to treat common infections of the respiratory tract, ears, skin, and urinary system. The inclusion of Flucloxacillin provides protection against penicillin-resistant bacteria. Flumox Syrup effectively targets and eliminates bacteria by inhibiting their cell wall synthesis.
