Description
Flamox 250mg/5ml Oral Suspension is a potent prescription-only antibiotic specifically formulated to combat a broad spectrum of bacterial infections. This medication combines two powerful antibiotics: Amoxicillin and Flucloxacillin, making it highly effective against infections that might be resistant to single antibiotics, particularly those caused by penicillinase-producing bacteria. When reconstituted, each 5ml dose delivers 250mg of the active antibiotic combination. Flamox is commonly prescribed for various bacterial infections affecting the respiratory tract (e.g., pneumonia, bronchitis), ears, nose, throat, skin and soft tissues, urinary tract, and for certain bone and joint infections.
