Each tablet contains 5mg of Finasteride, a potent 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor that works by reducing the production of a male hormone (DHT) responsible for prostate growth. This action helps to shrink the enlarged prostate gland over time, significantly improving urinary symptoms such as frequent urination, weak stream, and difficulty emptying the bladder.
