DYGLI M 50/1000 is a combination medication specifically designed for the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus. Each tablet contains 50mg of Vildagliptin and 1000mg of Metformin Hydrochloride, offering a dual-action approach to blood sugar control. Vildagliptin works by increasing the levels of incretin hormones, which stimulate insulin production when blood sugar is high and reduce glucose production by the liver. Metformin, on the other hand, helps to lower glucose production in the liver, decrease glucose absorption from the intestines, and improve the body’s sensitivity to insulin. Together, these components effectively lower high blood sugar levels, helping to achieve better glycemic control. DYGLI M 50/1000 is intended for use when diet, exercise, and Metformin alone do not provide adequate control.
