Clavulin 1g Tablets (14’s) are a powerful, high-strength broad-spectrum antibiotic designed for the effective treatment of a wide array of severe bacterial infections. Each tablet contains Amoxicillin 875mg and Clavulanic Acid 125mg. Amoxicillin, a penicillin-type antibiotic, works by destroying bacterial cell walls, leading to their eradication. Clavulanic Acid is a crucial addition as it acts as a beta-lactamase inhibitor, protecting Amoxicillin from enzymes produced by certain bacteria that would otherwise render the antibiotic ineffective. This potent combination makes Clavulin 1g highly effective against infections of the respiratory tract (e.g., pneumonia, severe bronchitis, sinusitis), urinary tract, skin and soft tissues, bone and joint infections, and other serious bacterial infections, particularly those caused by beta-lactamase-producing organisms.
