BENYLIN 4 FLU Liquid 100ml is a multi-action oral liquid formulated to provide effective relief from a wide range of cold and flu symptoms. It combines three key active ingredients that work synergistically to alleviate discomfort:
- Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) 1000mg per 20ml (or 500mg/10ml): This is a well-known analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It helps to bring down high temperatures and relieve aches, pains, and headaches commonly associated with flu.
- Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride 25mg per 20ml (or 12.5mg/10ml): A first-generation antihistamine that helps to dry up excess secretions, relieving symptoms like runny nose, sneezing, and watery eyes. It also has antitussive (cough suppressant) properties, helping to calm dry or tickly coughs. Diphenhydramine is known to cause drowsiness, which can be beneficial for nighttime relief but requires caution during the day.
- Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride 45mg per 20ml (or 22.5mg/10ml): A decongestant that works by narrowing blood vessels in the nasal passages. This reduces swelling and congestion, effectively unblocking stuffy noses and sinuses to facilitate easier breathing.
