Description
BACEP Oral Suspension 5ml contains Bacillus clausii spores, a beneficial probiotic microorganism. Each 5ml vial or sachet typically delivers a specific count of these spores (e.g., 2 billion spores), which are highly resistant to gastric acid and bile, allowing them to reach the intestine intact. Once in the gut, Bacillus clausii germinates and helps to restore the balance of the intestinal bacterial flora (gut microbiome).
This probiotic is primarily used for the treatment and prevention of various types of diarrhea, including:
- Acute diarrhea in both adults and children.
- Diarrhea caused by antibiotic use (antibiotic-associated diarrhea).
- Diarrhea due to intestinal infections or chemotherapy.
Beyond diarrhea, Bacillus clausii also contributes to improving overall gut health, aiding digestion, and enhancing the body’s natural immunity.
